RESEARCH
I am an applied microeconomist specializing in health economics and public finance, with a focus on tobacco control policies and their economic and health impacts. My research examines how policies like Tobacco 21 laws and cigarette taxes influence smoking behaviors, maternal and infant health, and state economies. Using econometric methods and macroeconomic modeling, I assess the effectiveness of public health interventions. My work aims to provide data-driven insights for policymakers, balancing economic and health priorities.
